November - Early December - Ski season starts in early November, with art shows and concerts throughout the month.

Winter Late December - March

Late December - Mammoth's magical holiday season lights up at night with celebrations, parties, and a visit from Santa Claus. Ski races start the winter season, and holiday shoppers can find unique gifts at Village shops and art shows. Celebrate the New Year in the mountains.

January - Concerts, ski/snowboard seminars, races and camps kickoff the New Year.

February - The President's weekend holiday showcases local talent with arts and crafts festivals and fine art shows. Enjoy fabulous snow conditions in the height of Mammoth's winter season.

March - Spring skiing brings warm sunshine and midwinter snow conditions. Kick back on the slopeside sun deck for a total beach party at the annual Spring Snowsplash. Don't be surprised by a typical mid-March Mammoth powder dump to freshen up the slopes a bit.

Spring April - June

April - Easter brings lots of fun for children at the annual "Easter Egg Party" in the snow. Cross country skiers can indulge in epicurean delights at the Mammoth Tour de Taste. Hard-core anglers can get a jump start on the fishing season at the end of the month.

May - Spring ski season is in full swing, with race camps and ski races throughout the month. Trout derbies start off the fishing season.

June - Golf season begins, along with a full calendar of summer events and activities. Tour the geological sites and celebrate nature. Be amazed by big air jumps at the annual Mammoth Motocross.

Summer July - September

July - Celebrate Independence Day at the annual town parade, arts and crafts festivals and fireworks by the lake. July also hosts the Jazz Jubilee, Celtic Festival and Children's Fishing Festival.

August - The arts come alive in midsummer, with the Summer Repertory Theater, Sierra Summer Festival, and the annual Art a la Carte, Bluesapalooza and Mammoth Festival of Beers round out the month.

September - Mammoth's annual Mountain Bike Championships offers plenty of action, and the Oktoberfest is a sure sign that fall is on the way. Fall colors start in mid-September.
